Computational Mathematics in Engineering

We perform research on mathematical algorithms required to treat modern engineering challenges. The focus is on numerical methods such as the finite element method to solve field problems in computational solid mechanics, computational fluid dynamics, and computational electromagnetics. We care about the development of new algorithms, a detailed theoretical understanding of the methods, and the efficient implementation on modern computer architectures.
