November 24, 2022 ASC Presentation 2022On invitation of Wolfgang Wagner, the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Geoinformation at TU Wien, the Institute of Analysis and Scientific Computing was presenting its duties and achievements in research, teaching, and administration to the faculty. While Dirk Praetorius, Head of the ASC institute, was presenting the current structure and statistics of ASC, Markus Faustmann, Head of ASC services, was commenting on the current ASC teaching duties for the Bachelor studies of Technical Mathematics as well as the service teaching. Afterwards, Elisa Davoli and Michael Feischl who have recently accepted counteroffers of TU Wien and were promoted to full professor presented their current research interests focussing on why they stayed at TU Wien.
