Workgroup on Analysis of Nonlinear PDEs

Research interests
The workgroup is concerned with the modeling, analysis, and numerical approximation of nonlinear partial differential equations arising in physics and biology, in particular multicomponent fluid mixtures, population dynamics, and semiconductor devices. A particular focus is on (stochastic) cross-diffusion systems with an entropy structure. The interests include the rigorous derivation of the models, existence analysis, entropy methods, and structure-preserving numerical schemes using finite-volume and finite-element methods.Postdocs
